About Glenn

Glenn, founder of Secrets of Buenos Aires Hi, I’m Glenn. I live in San Telmo, a few blocks from the San Telmo Market. I first came to Argentina as a tourist, and after some great adventures here, I moved to Buenos Aires in 2017.

Why I started Secrets of Buenos Aires

When I arrived, I noticed how hard it was to find good information for tourists. Much of what I found online was outdated, and not always honest. So I started sharing my own experiences: the places I went to, what things really cost and what I would do differently next time.

That is how the website grew. I’m still writing, and still discovering new corners of this city.

What you can expect from me

  • Honest advice. If something isn’t worth your time or money, I’ll tell you.
  • Up to date. When something changes in the city, I update my guides.
  • First-hand. What I write comes from my own experience in Buenos Aires.

Whether you are preparing your trip or already here, I hope you find something useful: where to exchange money, a rooftop bar for sunset, or the story behind a historic building you walk past.

How this website is funded

Secrets of Buenos Aires is free to read. When you book a tango show or an airport transfer through this site, or a hotel through one of my links, I earn a commission. That never changes what I write. You can read more in my affiliate disclosure.
