My verdict
Best for: Anyone who wants to start and finish early, for example because of an early flight or tour the next morning, and still have the full tango dinner experience.
Not for: A slow, cosy evening with the most complete tango show. For that, El Querandí or El Viejo Almacén are better choices.

My experience at Aljibe
I have been to Aljibe three times, most recently in June 2026. Its big advantage is the timing: dinner at 19:00, the show at 20:15, and you are out by about 21:15.
The show is compact, about an hour, with three dancing couples and a live quartet of guitar, accordion, bass and piano. It is still a traditional tango dinner show, in a beautifully decorated room where every row of tables is raised, so you see well from every seat.
It can get busy and then feels a little rushed. If you want the most complete show, there are better options; if you want an early night with the full experience, Aljibe is a good choice.
My tip: The best choice if you want an early show and still the full dinner experience. Show only works too if you really want an early night.

- Hotel shuttle: Add the round-trip hotel shuttle when you book. You are picked up in your hotel lobby within a 30-minute window. Pick-up times: dinner & show 18:30–19:00 in the city centre, 18:00–18:30 in Palermo; show only 19:30–20:00 in the city centre, 19:00–19:30 in Palermo. You can book it until 12 hours before the start.
