Best for: Anyone who wants a small-scale show with a five-star experience (in the Faena Hotel) and likes to dress up.
Not for: Travellers on a budget: it is the most expensive tango show in Buenos Aires.

My experience at Rojo Tango
I have been to Rojo Tango twice, most recently in November 2025. It is in El Cabaret, inside the five-star Faena Hotel in Puerto Madero, for about 40 guests at most. From the moment you arrive, you feel the five-star treatment: you are escorted to your table in a romantic, mysterious room, and you have a personal waiter.
This is not classic tango but cabaret tango, made by a renowned choreographer and polished down to the smallest detail, and at times slightly erotic, as cabaret can be. A pianist, double bass, violin and two bandoneons, two singers and very professional dancers use the whole room: suddenly they dance right next to you.
The food is five-star hotel food, refined and beautifully presented, with Terrazas wines. It is the most expensive tango show in the city, and you do wonder whether it is worth it, but you get the atmosphere you pay for. Choose dinner & show: with the show only you sit at the back, and the stage is barely 30 cm high.
My tip: If you love an exclusive setting and the vibe of five-star hotels, this is the place. Choose dinner & show: the show only is seated at the back and is just the ticket, without drinks or food.
