The Buenos Aires Tango Dance Festival en World Cup is back. The city will be, more than ever, the center of tango from September 6th till 18th. Many tango dancers from all over the world will be there. Curious where to see it? In this article I will explain how to visit the tango festival.

Buenos Aires Tango Dance Festival and World Cup

Due to the pandemic, some editions of the world championship were postponed, but in September we can welcome the whole world back. Buenos Aires will be all about tango for two weeks.

Buenos Aires Tango Dance Festival and World Cup will take place in Usina del Arte. A cultural center located in La Boca. It is easily recognizable by the clock tower and the highway next to the event center.

What to expect?

Two competitions will take place, namely Tango de Pista and Tango Stage.

Each time the tango dancers are judged by a professional jury and the final takes place on 17 September. The venue for the final has not yet been announced.

Can you visit it?

Yes, but you need to make a ticket reservation. Click here for going to the official website and make a reservation. You can book a ticket 72h in advance of the day event.

    • The entrance is free. You can book tickets from 72h in advance. Be quick because the reservations goes fast.
